In Blue Time is an audiovisual installation that amplifies the sound of waterclocks in real time. Consisting of long containers that catch water from vessels suspended above, each waterclock casts reflections that are reminiscent of soundwaves. Every drip shapes both reflection and sound through hidden contact microphones and pin spot beam lights. When several of these waterclocks are activated, the simultaneous sounds develop into a ringing chorus that weaves in and out as the viewer walks through the space.
