SHOLEH ASGARY

An intimate evening of two duo performances, Sholeh Asgary and Leila Abdul-Rauf, and, Thea Farhadian and Silvia Matheus in celebration of the آبـان (Aban) album release. Asgary (voice, electronics, strings) began with a live performance of "Nectarine," from her debut EP, and was shortly thereafter joined by Abdul-Rauf (voice, trumpet, electronics), where they shared the stage for the first time in a longer improvised duo set. They were preceded by the duo of Farhadian (electronics and violin) and Matheus (electronics), who presented a composition in new directions.
